If you’ve recently updated Windows 10 and you’re seeing an error after running the troubleshooter stating “Windows has an invalid IP Address scheme”, your computer may be effected by a recent update for Windows. You can try the following steps to fix the issue.
Step One
Open a ‘Command Prompt’ by right clicking on your ‘Start Button’ and selecting ‘Command Prompt (Admin) and typing the commands that follow exactly as written.
open-command-prompt-admin
Press enter after each entry:
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
Step Two
Close any open programs and save any work, then restart your PC (this must be done to complete the fix) then check your internet connection.
